Familjen fyller sina dagar med pengar, sex och droger. I första avsnittet får vi möta systrarna Bellacourt och deras förberedelser för att underhålla en Newport-mäklare. Samtidigt försöker tjänstebiträdet Celine (Christina Hendricks) anpassa sig till livet som hushållerska hos Bellacourtfamiljen och smeknamnet som hon tilldelas - Chair (”Stol”).
