Lyndon FIRST GRADE NPLNSW.COM.AU MATCH arramatta FC will be hoping to pull off Pthe upset of the season when they host Blacktown City FC at Melita Stadium on Sunday. Parramatta’s campaign has gone from bad to worse in 2017 but a win against an all conquering Blacktown team would give Marshall Soper’s team something to look back on fondly at seasons end. Blacktown has lost only one game all season and are only getting better at the tail end of the season. Joey Gibbs, Mitch Mallia and James Andrew have been three of the league’s best attacking players and will be out to continue their run of form. Blacktown will be favourites but anything can happen in football. 1ST GRADE - PLAYSTATION 4 NPL NSW MEN’S POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Blacktown City FC 16 12 3 1 34 15 19 39 2 APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC 16 12 0 4 34 14 20 36 3 Sydney Olympic FC 16 9 4 3 25 13 12 31 4 Rockdale City Suns FC 15 8 4 3 29 20 9 28 5 Sydney United 58 FC 16 8 3 5 30 18 12 27 6 Manly United FC 16 8 3 5 37 27 10 27 7 Wollongong Wolves FC 16 7 1 8 20 23 -3 22 8 Hakoah Sydney City East FC 16 5 4 7 25 27 -2 19 9 Sydney FC 16 4 1 11 23 37 -14 13 10 Sutherland Sharks FC 16 4 0 12 22 40 -18 12 11 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 16 3 3 10 24 43 -19 12 12 Parramatta FC 15 1 2 12 15 41 -26 5 5 FIRST GRADE #PS4NPLNSW Manly United FC 2 - Parramatta FC 0 at Cromer Park It wasn’t pretty, but it was job done for Manly United in Saturday night’s 2-0 PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition victory against Parramatta FC at Cromer Park. Dejan Pandurevic’s 23rd minute strike and a 85th minute goal to veteran striker Dylan Macallister was the difference as Manly kept its finals hopes alive with a much needed win. The away side toiled from start to finish, but at times were chasing shadows with the gulf in class between the two squads obvious. In the end Manly were just too good as the visitors slumped to a 15th straight game without a win. Blacktown City FC 3 - Sydney FC 1 at Lily’s Football Centre A Joey Gibbs double helped Blacktown City maintain their lead at the top after the PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition with a 3-1 win against Sydney FC at Lily’s Football Centre on Sunday afternoon. Gibbs opened the scoring early on after steering home a simple tap in and claimed his brace and Blacktown’s third five minutes into the second half with a similarly easy finish at the back post. Sydney FC had earlier restored parity midway through the first half thanks to a superb Charles Lokolingoy effort but a Mitch Mallia strike on the cusp of half time proved a crucial blow to the Sky Blues who were unable to prevent the hosts from a fifth consecutive win. Robert Stanton’s side enjoyed decent spells throughout the match against a heavily rotated Blacktown City outfit but were undone by the ruthlessness of City’s forwards with Mallia and Gibbs in particularly lethal form. 6 ROUND 16 TEAM OF THE 01: LARGE USE: OVER 150MM WIDE This logo has a smaller ‘®’ symbol 02: FOOTBALL NSW WOULDSMAL LIKEL USE: TO55MM THANK - 150MM WID THEIRE SPONSORS FOR THEIRThis CONTINUED logo has a larger ‘ ®SUPPORT’ symbol 7 FEATURE STORY #PS4NPLNSW WARATAH Cup WARATAH Cup WARATAH CUP GRAND FINAL SUNDAY 9TH JULY VS 8 HEADING NPLNSW.COM.AU 9 UNDER 20s #PS4NPLNSW 22 Cameron JUMTREE 23 Samuel HAMILTON 23 Anthony MORENA 24 Jake MAMONE 24 Josuha TREASURE 25 Ben PARKINSON 25 Shaho ISMAEEL HASAN 26 Mason IRELAND 26 Gibrille KAMARA 27 Anthony GALLO 28 Matthew KEPPIE 29 Lewis FRASER 29 Ryan BLAKELY 30 Adolph KOUDAKPO 30 Marcus PLATANIOTIS 31 Lachlan ROSE 31 Luke CARBONE 32 John AZAR 32 Patrick ELHINDI 33 Isaac DANDAN 33 Dylan ELLUL 34 Jarrod DODDS 34 Grabriel BRESSA 35 Dan BACHARA 35 George PANAYI 36 Mark RODIC 36 Abuz AWAZ 38 Evan PATRAMANIS 40 Corey FINCH 39 Mason INGRAM Coach: David Ivicevich Coach: John Carnevale Manager: Stephen Ellul Assistant Coach: Andrew Montgomery Manager: Aaron Bywater UNDER 20s - PLAYSTATION 4 NPL NSW MEN’S POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Sutherland Sharks FC 16 10 2 4 44 19 25 32 2 Blacktown City FC 16 9 3 4 25 17 8 30 3 Sydney FC 16 8 5 3 30 15 15 29 4 APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC 16 8 2 6 39 24 15 26 5 Sydney Olympic FC 16 7 3 6 28 26 2 24 6 Hakoah Sydney City East FC 16 7 2 7 22 21 1 23 7 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 16 7 2 7 22 43 -21 23 8 Rockdale City Suns FC 15 6 3 6 15 25 -10 21 9 Sydney United 58 FC 16 6 2 8 20 24 -4 20 10 Wollongong Wolves FC 16 5 3 8 24 30 -6 18 11 Manly United FC 16 5 2 9 31 36 -5 17 12 Parramatta FC 15 2 1 12 13 33 -20 7 10 UNDER 20s NPLNSW.COM.AU MATCH t’s looking lonely at the bottom for Parramatta Opponents Parramatta have endured a tough Iwho are ten points adrift of eleventh placed campaign and appear destined to finish bottom Manly as a result of their 2-0 defeat to the of the competition table.
