SHRI SHANTARAM NAIK: Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the number and names of organisations receiving foreign funding in the State of Karnataka; (b) the year-wise quantum of foreign funding they have received in the last ten years; (c) whether any enquiry with respect to these organisations was conducted and if so, the results thereof; (d) whether any of these organizations have been associated with Mid- Day-Meal Scheme of Government of India/State Government; and (e) if so, the names and details of these organisations and total amount received by the organisations, if any, for serving food for children? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS (SHRI KIREN RIJIJU) (a) to (e): A Statement is laid on the Table of the House. ***** -2- STATEMENT REFFERED IN REPLY TO THE RAJYA SABHA STARRED QUESTION NO.*60 FOR 09.07.2014. (a): The total number of organisations registered under the FCRA, 2010 in the state of Karnataka is 2989. A list of names of these organisations is given at Annexure I. (b): The details are available from the year 2006-07 onwards. The quantum of foreign funding received by these organisations from 2006-07 to 2012-13 is given at Annexure II. (c): During 2013-14, inspections of 24 NGOs were conducted and compounding penalty was imposed on 17 NGOs. (d) to (e): Under the Mid-Day-Meal Scheme Central Assistance under various components is released to the State/UT.     232 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC & ENGINEERING RESEARCH, VOLUME 12, ISSUE 1, JANUARY-2021 ISSN 2229-5518 Circumambulation in Indian pilgrimage: Meaning and manifestation Santosh Kumar Abstract— Our ancient literature is full of examples where pilgrimage became an immensely popular way of achieving spiritual aims while walking. In India, many communities have attached spiritual importance to particular places or to the place where people feel a spiritual awakening. Circumambulation (pradakshina) around that sacred place becomes the key point of prayer and offering. All these circumambulation spaces are associated with the shrines or sacred places referring to auspicious symbolism. In Indian tradition, circumambulation has been practice in multiple scales ranging from a deity or tree to sacred hill, river, and city. The spatial character of the path, route, and street, shift from an inside dwelling to outside in nature or city, depending upon the central symbolism. The experience of the space while walking through sacred space remodel people's mental and physical character. As a result, not only the sacred space but their design and physical characteristics can be both meaningful and valuable to the public. This research has been done by exploring in two stage to finalize the conclusion, In which First stage will involve a literature exploration of Hindu and Buddhist scripture to understand the meaning and significance of circumambulation and in second, will investigate the architectural manifestation of various element in circumambulatory which help to attain its meaning and true purpose. His parishioners flocked to him for 2 confession and felt the joy of God’s forgiveness and of conversion. He listened, understood, read their minds, prompted repentance and comforted them. Ars became the European capital of reconciliation with God: men and women from across Europe and around the world would set out for France because they truly believed that in an out-of-the-way French village, a priest consumed by prayer and penance was speaking of God, hearing confessions and guiding souls to holiness.

(For that retreat, almost fifty priests from all over the United States had gathered for a week within the Month of Nazareth, in which a smaller number of priests were participating for the full month.) This mini-history is to complement A New Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Msgr. Bryan Karvelis of Brooklyn, New York (RIP), and the American Experience of Jesus Caritas Fraternities by Father Dan Danielson of Oakland, California. It proposes to record the beginnings of the Jesus Caritas Fraternities in the USA over its first decade of existence from 1963 to 1973, and it will mark the fifth anniversary of the beatification of the one who inspired them, Little Brother Blessed Charles de Foucault. It purports to be an “acts of the apostles” of some of the Jesus Caritas Fraternity prophets and apostles in the USA, a collective living memory of this little- known dynamic dimension of the Church in the United States. It is not an evaluation of the Fraternity, much less a road map for its future growth and development.
