Lysnar and Wainui Beach Reserves Management Plan SECTION 1 INTRODUCTION page 1 1.0 Introduction 1.1 THE PURPOSE OF THIS PLAN This management plan has been prepared for the coastal foreshore reserves running along the length of Wainui Beach, Gisborne. The management plan has been prepared to assist in the day-to-day management of the reserves, whilst meeting long term management objectives. All parks administered under the Reserves Act (1977) require a management plan under section 41 of the Act. The purpose of this management plan is to provide a strategic framework for the management of Wainui Beach’s
