‘EAT, PLAY, LOVE’ Cast Bios

JEN LILLEY (Carly Monroe) – Jen Lilley is best known for her role as Theresa Donovan on NBC’s “” and her portrayal of on ABC’s “.” She also appeared in the Academy Award-winning film, The Artist.

She’s been a series regular and guest-starred on several sitcoms, including MTV’s improvised comedy series, “Disaster Date.”

Her most recent projects in post-production include feature films Mommy I Didn't Do it, The Wedding Do Over, Galileo, Where Are You Bobby Browning and Crossing Streets, and television appearances on “Grey’s Anatomy” and new series, “The Encounter.” Lilley will be seen next in the Hallmark Channel original movie “Harvest Love,” premiering in September.

Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Lilley didn't start acting until college at University of Virginia when she played the lead in an indie film called The Loss of Life. In addition to acting, she is also a talented singer, baker, children’s book author and DIY enthusiast.

She is involved in various charities and garnered the National Educators Award for her work in Guatemala. She is a children’s rights advocate and supports charities that focus on protecting children against physical and sexual abuse, human trafficking and the world water crisis. Lilley is currently a celebrity ambassador for the child abuse and treatment organization Childhelp, an advisory board member for the Innocent Justice Foundation, a school tour speaker for the Thirst Project and a foster parent.

JASON CERMAK (Dan Landis) – Jason Cermak’s acting career began in 2000 after meeting Matt Damon on location of “The Bourne Identity” in Prague, where Cermak was living at the time. His experience on that set encouraged him to get an agent and start training as a professional film and television actor. Since that time, he has amassed an impressive resume of television and film credits.

Most recently, Cermak co-starred in the third season of CBS’ “Zoo” as Sgt. Greg Mansdale and will be appearing in Netflix’s new comedic series “The Green Beret’s Guide to Surviving the Apocalypse.” He appeared last season in episodes of FX’s “Fargo” and ABC’s “Imaginary Mary,”

and was also seen in the Lifetime movies “Death of a Vegas Showgirl” and “Where’s My Baby?” On the big screen, Cermak was in Fifty Shades of Grey and has appeared in numerous independent features.

Jason’s Hallmark credits are considerable, playing Tommy Sloan in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “Concrete Evidence: A Fixer Upper Mystery” and “Framed for Murder: A Fixer Upper Mystery.” Jason guest starred as Dr. Burns in two episodes of the Hallmark Channel original series “When Calls the Heart” and co-starred in the Hallmark Channel original movie “Moonlight in Vermont.” He also appeared in “Garage Sale Mystery: The Novel Murders” and “Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery.”

Jason’s role of Dan Landis in “Eat, Play, Love” is his first leading man appearance in a Hallmark Channel original movie. Keep your eye on this rising star.

LEE MAJORS (Dr. Isaac Monroe) – Lee Majors has been acting nonstop since he first appeared on a 1965 episode of the classic .” That same year, he was tapped to star in his first long-running series, “.” Majors has starred in four long- running TV hits, including “Owen Marshall, Counselor at Law,” “The Six Million Dollar Man” and “The Fall Guy,” as well as in seasons of “The Rave” and “The Virginian.”

Majors was nominated for the Golden Globe for his starring role as “The Six Million Dollar Man,” for which he was also named TV’s Superest Super Hero by the TV Land Awards. He is the winner of a Golden Boot Award and was honored with a Star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. He has appeared in more than 40 feature films, more than 500 television episodes and has made countless other TV show guest appearances. Most recently, Majors was featured in several episodes of the Starz! Series “Ash vs Evil Dead.”

LINDSAY WAGNER (Mrs. Gilbert) – Emmy award-winning actress will be forever remembered as Jaime Sommers, “,” for which she earned the Emmy as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and for which she was twice nominated for the Golden Globe. She first came to prominence, however, for her critically acclaimed performance as Susan Fields in director James Bridges’ “The Paper Chase.”

Wagner co-authored a bestselling vegetarian cookbook, The High Road to Health and Lindsay Wagner's New Beauty: The Acupressure Facelift. She has recently released a meditation CD, “Open to Oneness.”

Off-screen, she is passionate about the study and sharing of holistic healing modalities, integrating mind, body and spirit. For 25 years, she has been the Honorary Chair of ICAN (Inter-Agency Council on Child Abuse and Neglect). She has also been heavily involved in human rights, domestic violence, animal welfare and the environment. From 2003-2006, in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Lindsay co-facilitated a counseling group for convicted batterers and their families. Her work utilized a range of psychological and spiritual techniques. She facilitates experiential “Quiet the Mind & Open the Heart” workshops and retreats that are open to the public. These programs are designed to help overcome personal challenges, while accessing the peace and joy that is naturally within us.
