Waterford is a recipient of Music Generation philanthropic funding from U2 and The Ireland Funds to create increased access to non-mainstream music tuition for children and young people in Waterford City and County. Creative Ireland is a culture-based programme designed to promote individual, community and national wellbeing. Awards night to recognise the contribution of volunteers in the community Festival celebrating biodiversity, natural heritage and environment of Waterford South East Celebration of Positive Ageing Week with various social, educational, health activities, extending to very isolated areas This Festival highlights the natural beauty, diversity and uniqueness of the area. Country fair organised by a voluntary committee in the grounds of Curraghmore House Cross Country Mountain Bike endurance challenge.
