Venkata Rao grant of quarry lease for Quartz & Feldspar over an extent of 2.818 Ha. In Sy.No: 88/1A of Lakshmipuram Village, Tiruvuru Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh State. The Asst. Director of Mines and Geology, Vijayawada, submitted the proposals recommending for grant of quarry lease for Quartz & Feldspar over an extent of 2.818 Ha., in Sy.No:88/1A of Lakshmipuram Village, Tiruvuru Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh State, in favour of M/s Akshaya Constructions, M/P: Sri N. Venkata Rao, for a period of 30 years. After careful examination of the proposals of the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology, Vijayawada, it is decided in principle to grant the quarry lease for Quartz & Feldspar over an extent of 2.818 Ha., in Sy.No:88/1A of Lakshmipuram Village, Tiruvuru Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh State, in favour of M/s Akshaya Constructions, M/P: Sri N. Venkata Rao, for a period of 30 years vide Director of Mines & Geology, Ibrahimpatnam, Notice No. 5428/R2-3/2018 dated - --06-2018. The mining plan approved vides Letter No: 2500/Quartz/MP/VJA/2018, dated 14/11/2018. Need for the project and its importance to the country and or region. In the present scenario, the Quartz & Feldspar has good market in the country apart for export purpose. The available granite is made of rough blocks, slabs, panel and tiles, monuments and other fancy and decorative items like pen stand, flower vases, table tops- tea troy & others. High precision products like surface plates may also be made for engineering application. Demand-supply Gap There is a demand of Quartz & Feldspar and is ever growing with the growth of industrial sector in the country. The requirement of the mineral is always found high in adjoining areas. PROJECT: M/s Akshaya Constructions Pre-Feasibility Report Imports V/s Indigenous production Quartz & Feldspar mined from the proposed project will neither be exported nor imported. It is an indigenous production and will be supplied within the country. Export Possibility No export. Domestic/ Export Markets Quartz & Feldspar is having good demand in export and domestic market. The applicant has contacted the buyers at Chennai and other important trade centers to export the rough blocks of Quartz & Feldspar from this area. All efforts will be made to improve the market trend and demand to ensure that the venture is a profitable one. Employment generation (Direct and Indirect due to the project) The proposed project will generate direct employment to 42 people and indirectly in transportation etc. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Type of project including interlinked and interdependent projects, if any The proposed mining project is mining of Quartz & Feldspar in semi-mechanized open cast method by using hydraulic excavators, tippers, jackhammer drills. Location: The above said quarry lease falls in Topo sheet No. 65 C / 12. The Quarry lease area is located at a distance of about 5.1 kms due NW of Lakshmipuram village. The Mandal Head Quarters Tiruvuru is located at the distance of 8.1 kms from the Quarry Lease Area. The gravel road established from quarry lease area to Lakshmipuram and then it connects to NH-30. Over usage of ground water for and near industrial developments in the world, in India it is drinking, irrigation and domestic purpose has resulted in mandatory for monitoring the quality of water due to heavy rapid depletion of water and pollution of ground water discharge of effluents directly, in the present study five aquifers has made many of the wells unfit for consumption sampling stations were selected for the assessing the (Chutia and Sarma, 2009). People around the world have groundwater quality in kondapalli industrial region, and used ground water as a source of drinking water and even assessing the physicochemical parameters like The samples today more than half of the world’s population depends on were analyzed various water quality parameters such as pH, ground water for survival (UNESCO-2000). So it is believed electrical conductivity (EC), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Total to be comparatively much clean and free from pollution than Hardness (TH), Chloride, sulphate, nitrates, iron, calcium, surface water.
