Over usage of ground water for and near industrial developments in the world, in India it is drinking, irrigation and domestic purpose has resulted in mandatory for monitoring the quality of water due to heavy rapid depletion of water and pollution of ground water discharge of effluents directly, in the present study five aquifers has made many of the wells unfit for consumption sampling stations were selected for the assessing the (Chutia and Sarma, 2009). People around the world have groundwater quality in kondapalli industrial region, and used ground water as a source of drinking water and even assessing the physicochemical parameters like The samples today more than half of the world’s population depends on were analyzed various water quality parameters such as pH, ground water for survival (UNESCO-2000). • Enhancing Local Development Through Interface of Culture, Heritage And
Enhancing local development through interface of culture, heritage and economy By Imran Basha Culture is primarily associated with the arts, ideas, customs, social behaviour and other human intellectual interactions in an area. Culture and heritage play significant roles in enhancing local livelihood and economy, hence different initiatives are being undertaken by respective cities or areas in the promotion of the local economy through culture and heritage conservation. With rapid urbanization, cities are transforming into engines of growth. This, in turn, has implications on local urban culture and traditions. Cultural and heritage conservation is being side-lined and is struggling to compete with the pace of urban concretisation or mass production tools and technologies. The session on ‘Development, Economy, Livelihood and Culture’ during the Urban Symposium on ‘Harmonizing Heritage and Innovation in Cities’ hosted by UN-Habitat in partnership with GIZ on 19th - 20th December 2019 in Jaipur, examines how culture and heritage can be leveraged for local economic development.
