ØStudents in grades 2-12 who decode laboriously and need to work on automaticity and fluency Read Naturally Live Video Orton-Gillingham (OG) • What literacy skills are targeted? ØAlphabet ØSound/symbol correspondence ØHandwriting ØBlending/segmenting ØPhonics ØSight words ØSpelling ØOrthography ØMorphology
• Who may benefit from this intervention? ØStudents in grades 1-12 who have not made progress in Word Study, struggle to decode and encode accurately and may have a phonological processing deficit Orton-Gillingham Lessons
• 3 Part Drill • Teaching a New Concept Phono-Graphix (PG) • What literacy skills are targeted? ØBlending ØSegmenting ØPhoneme manipulation
• Who may benefit from this intervention? ØStudents in grades 1-5 who need additional instruction and practice with blending, segmenting, phoneme manipulation, spelling and decoding Phono-Graphix Lessons
