All locos are listed in one section. This is due to the now less distinct differences and the frequent changes between operational and preserved / private status we see on today’s railway. Entries are made as follows: Locomotives: Number - Details - Owner - Livery - Operator - Pool - Depot/Location - Prev Number(s) - Name Diesel and Electric Units: Unit No. - Details - Owner - Livery - Operator - Depot/Location - Formation - Prev No.(s) - Name Coaching Stock: Number - Details - Owner - Livery - Operator - Depot/Location - Prev Number(s) - Name All codes are listed, the back of this book. Please see the contents page at the front for details. In the Depot / Location column, a value in brackets eg (TO) is a storage location. We hope you enjoy this publication prepared by Inter City Railway Society. If you have any comments or know of further additions or amendments, please contact us either via: email: [email protected] or post: ICRS,14 Partridge Gardens, Waterlooville, Hampshire PO8 9XG Carl Watson 6th January 2014 WHAT’S NEW The biggest change this time round is a re-formatting of the data panels in order to save space as the book has been increasing in size and we still have even more EMUs to come so the work has been done now to free up the space and also to better fit within the wire binding Part of the exercise to make some space has meant the Track Machines have been tailored to remove any that were simply wagons. A full list can still be found in our UK Wagons book It would appear that Wabtec have bought 20 Class 60s from DBS, we await developments Colas Rail’s new Class 70s have started to arrive Europhoenix and Colas have acquired their first Class 37s and DRS have also acquired more DRS’s new 68s should start arriving very soon, 68002 is the first completed loco DB Schenker have redone all of their pools at the end of 2013, hopefully this will see an end to the constant moving between pools, sometimes almost daily....we’ll have to wait and see TPE Class 350s are starting to arrive and Southern’s new 377/6s are all delivered with their 377/7s due next. Pool Codes for DMUs and EMUs have been removed as most are meaningless and the space saved has been quite considerable THANK YOU In order to keep this book up to date in today’s rapidly changing railway scene we rely on both official and unofficial sources.
