Actress, filmmaker and singerRenee Wilson is best known for portraying Raelette Pat Lyle in the Academy award-winning film Ray with Jamie Foxx. She directed and co-produced the documentary Crepe Covered Sidewalks about her home town of New Orleans with award-winning director Tamika Miller and received the award for Best New Filmmaker at the Peachtree Village International Film Festival in August 2010. Renee also released her debut album, Voodoo Queen, on Foxy As Roz Records in March 2010. As an ambassador of New Orleans, Renee continues to tour with Crepe Covered Side- walks celebrating the culture, spreading awareness on the state of her hometown and encouraging people to activate around issues they are passionate about.
