Take the rough with the smooth

ooking back over the last three We are looking to bounce back, let’s see weeks at our football club, for how we perform after last weeks defeat. reasons beyond our control we have Lonly manage to play two games within this time. There is no doubt it has been a Together we are Wealdstone slightly frustrating period for us all, but we must take the rough with the smooth. Dean

Last week away at Hampton was a difficult defeat to take, I felt that there were key moments that just did not go our way within the game. In the first half we had four clean cut chances to take the lead which was incredibly important as we felt the first goal within this type of game was going to be key. It was disappointing to concede with Hamptons first attack in the second half and I personally felt that gave Hampton some more belief. I’m a big believer in clean sheets bring you success and our clean sheet record of late has been simply not good enough. We will be striving to improve that record.

That said however I was happy with www.wealdstone-fc.com our clean sheets at half time in both the Dorking and Hampton matches. We must make sure our second half performances improve going forward Today we host Royston in The FA Trophy, and as we have seen in the last few games teams are raising the performance levels against us so it’s something we have to get used to and make sure we raise our levels that little more. Royston have some very good experienced players, and they have very strong resources for their division.
