Schedule of work :- 01) Daily service of collection and transportation and disposal of Bio-Medical waste from 14 Nos Health Units under Medical Dept./ Sealdah division which are as follows Chitpur, Narkeldanga, Dakshindary, Gholsapur, Koilaghat, Krishanapur, Barasat, Bangaon, Naihati, Sonarpur, Ranaghat, Ranaghat CRE, Fairlee Place, Kamardanga to outside for treatment and segregates of Bio- Medical waste of Bio- Medical waste for 1096days.
02) Daily supply of Bio – Medical waste collection plastic bag size (22” X 25 “) as specified in Gazette Of India No.460. Daily requirement of 02 Nos of Plastic bags per Health Unit. (Blue – 01 No. & Yellow- 01 No.). Total No. of plastic bags – ( 02 Nos X 14 X 1096 days ) = 30,688 Nos.
03) Supply of puncture proof container with lid for keeping items ( Bio- medical waste).Requirement of container- 504 Nos. for 1096 days Total requirement of container – 504 Nos. Provision of covered vehicle to be used for disposal of bio-medical waste from Health Units under Medical Dept, Sealdah as per specification of West Bengal Pollution Control Board. All works to be carried out for 1096 days. Eligibility Criteria
Authorisation certificate from West Bengal Pollution Control Board, Kolkata, for common Bio- medical waste treatment and disposal facility in the above mentioned jurisdiction District.

Other documents Tender form will be submitted in scheduled date and time along with following documents, otherwise the tender form may be treated as invalid. a) Valid trade license or co-operative registration. b) Proprietary or partnership certificate of firm.
i) In case of Co- operative societies an attested copy of the certificate of Registration issued by the Registrar of Co-operative societies or other Authorized Officer and true copy of the by-laws of the group/ co-operative society. ii) In case of partnership firm, the copy of the partnership deed along with the copy of the certificate of registration issued by the competent authority. iii) In case of joint venture firm, the copy of the partnership deed, along with the copy of the certificate of registration issued by the competent authority. iv) The copy of the power of Attorney of the managing partner to sign the tender document should also be enclosed with the tender. c) Credential certificate will have to be submitted for similar nature of work as proposed, which has been performed within last 03 years in Govt. or semi-govt. organization with satisfactory performance. i) With respect to Railways, the credentials/ experience certificate should have been issued by at least a JA Grade Officer. However, the credential/ Experience certificate issued by Sr. scale Officer in their capacity, as Co-coordinating/ in- charge officer of a unit will also be accepted. With respect to other Government Departments and ( public Sector undertakings ) PSUs, the certificate issued at the level of Executive Engineer and above can be taken as valid. Certificate issued by private parties for the execution of the work will not be considered. d) Ownership of all machines required for bio- medical waste management. e) Ownership of covered vehicle or Legal agreement from the covered vehicle owner/transporter for disposal of bio- medical waste from B.R.Singh Hospital / Sealdah as per specification of West Bengal Pollution Control Board. f) All valid Tax Clearance Certificate and registration of the transport. g) Banker’s Certificate for financial soundness. h) PAN Card and Mobile No. of proprietor.
Earnest Money should be deposited through Bank Draft from any Nationalised Bank in f/o FA & CAO /E.Rly/ Kolkata. Tender documents will be received in sealed tender box kept in the Office of the Medical Director/ B.R.Singh Hospital/Sealdah only as mentioned above and the same will be received through Regd. Post within due date and time of last date of submission. If there is no possibility to open the tender box on due date due to sudden strike or any unavoidable circumstances, then tender will be opened on next available working day.
The details of tender can be down loaded from the website of Eastern Railway's website http://www.er.indianrailways.gov.in In case the tender documents is downloaded from the website, the cost of tender documents will have to deposit to the Chief Cashier / E.Rly, 17, Netaji Subhas Rd/ Fairlie Place/Kolkata –700 001 and original money receipt of deposit must be submitted along with the tender documents. The tender without cost of tender documents will summarily be rejected. The Railway Authority reserves the full right to accept or reject the tender on any circumstances without showing any reason to the Tenderers.
