Detailed Itinerary Day 1. Welcome to Myanmar! | Mandalay Highlights [Overnight in Mandalay ]

Meals: D Welcome to Myanmar! Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check in. Then the group will have a short tour briefing in the hotel lobby. In the afternoon, go to see the Highlights of Mandalay. Start off with an opportunity to learn about the distinct Buddhist culture unique to Burma. You'll visit the Mahamuni Image where you'll have an opportunity to watch locals pray and place gold paper on the statue of Buddha for blessing.

You'll also see the nearby facility where they make the gold leafs, a staple in Burmese religious practices. Then you'll visit the 19th Shwenandaw Monastery century Shwenandaw Monastery(Golden Palace Monastery) famous for its teak carvings of Buddhist mythology.

Next, you'll see the which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world's largest book of .

Day 2. Amarapura [Overnight in Mandalay ]

Meals: B L D In the morning transfer to Sagiang, the capital of Sagiang Division located on the Irrawaddy River. You'll cross the Bridge, which was built by the British in 1934. Then you'll visit the Maha Ganayon Monastery to see hundreds of monks line up for daily meals. Then visit U Bein Bridge - the longest teakwood bridge in the world.

Next, you'll see Kaung Mu Taw Pagoda: a dome shaped pagoda. At the base of the pagoda Stunning View on the way to Amarapura

Lunch at a restaurant. Then continue visit with a visit of Amarapura, "City of Immortality"the old capital of Myanmar. At the end of the day, visit the ancient temple of which was built in 1820.

Enjoy dinner at a Burmese restaurant. Day 3. Flight to Heho | Relax at Inle Lake [Overnight in Heho ] Flights: Flight from Mandalay to Heho will be arranged by us and is included in the price. Meals: B L D Board a morning flight to Heho. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you and transfer you to the resort on Inle Lake. After check in, enjoy leisure time at the resort with views of the lake, or take a stroll along one of the nearby roads where you may find hill tribe and long- necked Karens who come to the lake to sell their handmade textiles and handicrafts. Day 4. Discover the Life of the Intha Lake Tribe [Overnight in Heho ]

Your excursion today will be made by private long tail boat to see life of the In-tha tribe(name of local tribe who live on the lake), to discover their unique floating farms and life on the water. You will also witness local fisherman who fish while using only one leg to paddle the boat. Visit some of the temples and sites around the lake. Rest of the day is at your leisure to relax.

Day 5. Bagan Valley of a Thousand Temples [Overnight in Bagan ] Flights: Flight from Heho to Bagan will be arranged by us and is included in the price. Meals: B L D In the morning, transfer by flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you and escort you to hotel for check in. Today you'll explore Bagan, where you will see its thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread in the valley of the Ancient City of Bagan. These pagodas used to own by individual families during prosperous times. First visit the Nyaung Oo Market where locals buy and sell produce. Then stop at which is the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold.

Have a rest in hotel during the hot afternoon. Then you'll enjoy a Horse Cart Ride first to the small village of Taung Phi where rests a worn Bagan Temple teak monastery awaiting the rare tourists who are lost. Continue by horse cart around temples and winding roads as the sun makes it's way to the sky's edge casting curious shadows from the temples across the plain. Continue to Shesandaw Pagoda. From your vantage point, you'll watch one of the best sunsets in Southeast Asia. Then you'll take a horse cart ride back to your hotel.

Next, drive to Botahtaung Pagoda which features golden decorations inside the pagoda. Continue to Bogyoke Market which has on display the ten Burmese traditional handicrafts including stone carving, wood carving, bronze carving, painting, etc. Continue to the highlight of Yangon: the goldenThe Yangon Surrounds Shwedagon Pagoda. The first destination is Wat Phra Kaew, the chapel of the Emerald Buddha, which houses the world's most famous image of Buddha. The 75cm statue of jade sits atop an 11m golden pedestal surrounded by lavish murals and richly decorated pavilions. Next, you'll visit The Grand Palace which encompasses several major buildings. In the event of a canceled departure due to not meeting this threshold, we will inform you at least ninety(90) days prior to the tour start date for tours starting after October 1, 2017 and at least sixty(60) days prior to the tour start date for tours from March 1, 2017 to September 30, 2017. You will then be given the option to apply the deposit toward another departure, toward a private tour or receive full refund of the deposited amount.
