Goal of The campaign:

To increase the brand awareness of Prevacid heartburn medicine.

To motivate consumers to ask for Prevacid from their doctors.

Strategy: To create a brand awareness and radio/event marketing promotion that will increase consumer awareness. This program will center around the 2001 “Taste of Chicago” in Chicago’s Grant Park. This event draws millions of people each year.

Piggybacking on Prevacid’s new campaign “fight the fire faster” , Prevacid’s “Mr Tummy”, will team up with both the Chicago Fire fighters Union #2 and The Chicago Fire professional soccer team to invite consumers to visit the official SCORE booth at the 2001 “Taste of Chicago”.

Concept: Between Friday June 29th and July 8th, WSCR will broadcast 55 sixty second commercials that will air at various dayparts. These commercials will promote The appearance of Mr Tummy of Prevacid at the SCORE booth at“taste of Chicago as well as the benefits of Prevacid*.” The SCORE booth will be located on the main dragway at Columbus and Jackson Boulevards.

The shared radio commercial will also invite consumers to register at the official SCORE booth Prevacid-“Fight the Fire faster” display at all ten days of the event to win tickets to a Chicago Fire Soccer game. In addition,The Chicago Firefighters Union # 2 will be donating gifts ie, coloring books for children to be given out by “Mr Tummy” “Mr Tummy” will have the opportunity to be on site for 4 appearances for 4 hours each day during 4 days of the “taste” at The Score Booth. Specific tmes t.b.d. WSCR will provide:

Ø Registration forms and total administration of the contest to win “Chicago Fire tickets”.

Ø Coordination of give-aways from The Chicago Fire Fighter Union #2

Ø 40x sixty second announcements to air Mon- Sun 6a-12m

Ø The use of The official SCORE booth at Taste of Chicago.

Ø Writing and production of all radio commercials

Ø Produce on site displays for contest registration

Ø A web page over the 10 day promotional period at The SCORE’s official web site www.wscr670am.com describing the above promotion with logo presence of all partners including hot links to all partners’ web sites In order to maximize the success of this promotion, Prevacid will:
