ADMISSION PROMOTION OFFERED TO STATE AND NEBRASKA FOOTBALL FANS FANS VISITING OHIO FOR BIG TEN MATCH-UP WILL RECEIVE SPECIAL ADMISSION DISCOUNT FOR WEARING TEAM GEAR

CANTON, OHIO – The Pro Football Hall of Fame is inviting Ohio State and Nebraska football fans to experience “The Most Inspiring Place on Earth!” this weekend. The Cornhuskers take on the Buckeyes this Saturday (Nov. 5) in Columbus. The game is set for an 8 p.m. kickoff at Ohio Stadium. The Hall of Fame is just a two-hour car ride from Columbus.

Any Ohio State or Nebraska fan dressed in their team’s gear who mentions the promotion at the Hall’s box office will receive a $5 discount on any regular price museum admission. The promotion runs from Friday, Nov. 4 through Monday, Nov. 7. The Hall of Fame is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. BUCKEYES IN CANTON Ohio State ranks third among colleges represented in the Pro Football Hall of Fame with 10 former Buckeyes who have bronzed busts in Canton (Notre Dame has 13 and Southern has 12). The Hall of Famers from Ohio State include recently enshrined Class of 2016 member plus (Class of 2013), (Class of 1983), (Class of 1974), (Class of 1975), DICK LeBEAU (Class of 2010), JIM PARKER (Class of 1973), (Class of 2011), (Class of 1983), and (Class of 1977).

CORNHUSKERS IN CANTON Over the years, five Hall of Famers have played for the Cornhuskers before pursuing a professional football career that eventually landed them in Canton. Those former Nebraska alums now enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame include: BOB “THE BOOMER” BROWN (Class of 2004), (Class of 1965), WILLIAM ROY “LINK” LYMAN (Class of 1964), (Class of 2015), and (Class of 2015).

NEW AT THE HALL Hall of Fame Village, a $500 million development of the Pro Football Hall of Fame campus, began in September 2015 and includes significant enhancements to the museum that opened this past summer.

The Hall is now home to an extraordinary cutting-edge, multi-sensory immersive theater, “A Game for Life,” featuring holographic representations of Hall of Fame legends , , and . The experience provides great inspiration to fans by showing them how the game of football also teaches lessons about life. The stories of numerous Hall of Famers, including , , , , and , are shared.

The Hunt/Casterline Pro Football Hall of Fame Card Collection exhibit recently opened at the Hall. The exhibit showcases the rarest, highest graded, and most valuable football card collection in the world featuring a rookie card for each Hall of Fame player to date. The most-significant pieces of the 300,000-plus collection that dates back to 1888 are displayed. The collection’s creators are Dan Hunt, President of FC Dallas and son of , the Hall of Fame founder of the League and City Chiefs; and Robert Casterline from Casterline Goodman Gallery, Partner.
