FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Alex Riethmiller – 310.840.4635 NFL – 11/20/19 [email protected] NFL ANNOUNCES HEAD COACH FINALISTS FOR ‘NFL 100 ALL-TIME TEAM’ 20 of the Greatest Coaches in NFL History to be Considered for 10 Spots on Team To Be Announced During Next Five Weeks ‘NFL 100 All-Time Team’ Premieres This Friday, November 22 at 8:00 PM ET on NFL Network Following Monday’s announcement of the 24 running back finalists for the NFL 100 All-Time Team, the NFL today announced 20 head coach finalists for the team. The group of 20 head coaches represent some of the original architects of pro football. In addition to being responsible for the creation of iconic offensive and defensive schemes that are still utilized today, these men have collectively guided some of the game’s best teams to four AAFC Championships, 30 NFL Championships, two AFL Championships, and 27 Super Bowls. NFL100 All-Time Team premieres on November 22 and continues for six weeks through Week 17 of the regular season. Rich Eisen, Cris Collinsworth and Bill Belichick will reveal the NFL 100 All-Time Team selections by position in each episode beginning at 8:00 PM ET every Friday night, followed by a live reaction show hosted by Chris Rose immediately afterward, exclusively on NFL Network. Ten out of the 20 head coach finalists will make up the ultimate class and be revealed throughout the first five episodes of the series. The process to select and celebrate the historic team began in early 2018 with the creation of a 26-person blue-ribbon voting panel. The selection criteria for the NFL 100 All-Time Team followed the by-laws outlined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection process.
