Goal: To secure a position as the CEO or Executive Director of an established or proposed non-profit organization in the area of business advocacy, issue advocacy, government affairs, or citizen education. The organization must embrace a conservative philosophy to be considered.

RELEVANT NON-PROFIT EXPERIENCE:

Recent Past-President, Ohio Liberty Coalition. (7/2011-12/2012) Founded in 2009, the OLC is a state-wide Coalition of 80 independent Liberty Groups. Duties involved representing the Coalitionʼs views to state and federal elected officials, handling all media relations, public speaking, fundraising, strategic planning, organizing statewide and regional meetings, rallies and events, providing guidance and assistance to member group leaders, and interacting with conservative institutions with shared values and goals. I reported to a Board of Directors and worked with my other volunteer officers. Ohio is one of the few states to have a state-wide coordinating organization for the Liberty Movement. www.OhioLibertyCoalition.org.

President, We the People Convention. (1/2011-Present) Created the multi-day, state-wide educational event in 2011 to bring national organizations and speakers to Ohio to educate and train TEA Party and Liberty Group leaders and members. Held a second convention in 2012. Sold over 2,000 tickets, raised over $250,000. Sold over $60,000 in sponsorships the second year. Sponsors included The Heritage Foundation, FreedomWorks, , American Majority, , the Buckeye Institute and others. National speakers have included Dick Morris, John Fund, Matthew Spaulding, Herman Cain, , Congressmen Jim Jordan and Bill Johnson, Matt Kibbe and . This event is considered one of the most successful of its kind in the United States. Duties included negotiating all contracts, managing a staff of seven volunteers, handling all legal issues, marketing the event, selling all sponsorships and managing the event. www.WethePeopleConvention.org.

Executive Director, Portage County TEA Party. (7/2009- Present) One of four founders of the organization, I became the Executive Director in January of 2010. Grew the organization from 345 original members to 2,200 within 18 months. Our organization is considered one of the most successful in Ohio. One out of every 59 adults in our county are members of our group. In 2010 we created a State Affiliated PAC and endorsed our own slate of candidates. In a county with only 14% Republicans, our group elected 78% of our slate including the entire Republican ticket in the County for the first time since 1958. Our group is one of the few groups in the nation that collects dues and is self-funding. We are the only group in the state, and one of the few in the nation, that maintains office hours M-F from 9:00-5:00 using an all- volunteer staff. Duties include public speaking, strategic planning, marketing, fundraising, event planning and operations, membership development, public relations, database management, communications with members and outside groups, website management and content selection, coordinating bus trips, and managing 18 committees. www.PortageCountyTEAParty.com.

RELEVANT BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:

CEO and Founder of TRZ Communications Services, Inc.: 1989 to Present. Founded the company in 1989 initially as TRZ Sports Services which provided the live audio play-by-play for professional, college, high school and amateur sporting events, originally via the telephone, and then via the internet as well. At one time held exclusive contracts with the NFL, NBA, NHL and all major college athletic conferences. Changed company name to TRZ Communications Services in the mid-1990ʼs and began providing conferencing and broadcast voice services to educational institutions and business clients in addition to our sports services. www.TRZCom.com.

Broadcast Director/General Manager, World Basketball League - 1986-88 In first year of league served as General Manager of the Youngstown Pride Franchise and managed a staff of seven. In second year, I acted as Broadcast Director for the league and was responsible for producing a national package of game broadcasts including the championship games on ESPN.
