The well-developed infrastructure - in close proximity to the Olympic Park and Sochi Autodrom - includes a wide range of modern hotels of different categories and a convenient transport network, with a nearby airport and a transport hub with train and bus connections. Sochi Autodrom is one of the few Formula 1 venues to have team buildings specially constructed near the pit boxes. These buildings allow teams to operate away from their motorhomes, thereby simplifying logistics considerably. Sochi Autodrom’s Race Control building is the first in the world to have a video control system with Real-Time Full HD technology - ensuring high quality images on 56 screens tracking the cars. The system is based on data collected from 48 Speed Dome cameras located on the perimeter of the racing track. Sochi Autodrom’s engineers have developed a unique race protocol management system that was successfully tested at the 2014 Russian Grand Prix. The system allows engineers to manage the protocol in an automatic mode with the help of a special program in a real-time mode, which makes it unique in global terms. SOCHI AUTODROM SPECIFICS INFRASTRUCTURE: Main Characteristics Length of the circuit — 5,848 m Width of the circuit — ranges from 13 to 15 m Number of turns — 12 right and 6 left (18 in total) Driving direction — clockwise The lengthy third turn – with a negative camber where Formula 1 cars reach speeds of over 300 km/h Maximum speed reached by Formula 1 cars at the Russian Grand Prix — 336 km/h Average speed reached by Formula 1 cars at the Russian Grand Prix — 226 km/h Race Control 4 floors, 5,800 sq.m, with the headquarters of the motorsport events management, a race director office, Formula One Management (FOM) and International Automobile Federation (FIA) offices (during the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix), a timing room and engineering communications necessary for organising and controlling how the competition runs. Team Buildings 2 floors, 6,299 sq.m – 16 buildings for team members. On the ground floor, there are areas for catering and leisure, and a technical room. The first floor includes office rooms, leisure rooms and a terrace. Pit Buildings 4 floors, 34,340 sq.m comprises 33 team boxes (garages) (width of each – 6.80 m, length – 17.65 m), as well as FIA and FOM boxes and VIP suites with outside stands (F1 Paddock Club). Media Centre Used for accredited media representatives, includes a press workroom (336 seats), a photographers’ area (104 seats), a press conference room (80 seats), a unilateral studio, and a telecommunications centre. Medical Centre 1 floor, 497 sq.m located in the circuits perimeter, has a fully equipped reanimation room, two smaller surgery rooms, an X-ray room with digital X-ray, a burn treating shower and a treatment room. SOCHI AUTODROM SPECIFICS OPERATIONS: Motorsport Competition Since the opening of Sochi Autodrom in September 2014, the venue has hosted many events. Apart from the Formula 1 Grand Prix, a number of significant sporting events have been held here including the TCR International Series, the F4 NEZ Championship, the Russian Circuit Racing Series, the Max Power Cars and the Porsche Club Cup motorsport competitions, the Russian Triathlon Cup Final, the Mazda Sport Cup 2014 Final, the Sochi Half Marathon, the Russian Formula Masters (Formula 3 class) and the International race of the Mitjet 2L series Educational Projects Sochi Autodrom recruited over 1,000 volunteers from 19 countries of the world and different regions of Russia to host the Grand Prix and thus made a considerable contribution to the volunteers’ movement development. Within the framework of cooperation with the Russian International Olympic University, its students, who are enrolled in the sports management programme, followed a traineeship at Sochi Autodrom. Professors of the University of Bolton and the Moscow State Automobile & Road Technical University (MADI) visited Sochi Autodrom to discuss possibilities of interaction with the Russian Grand Prix promoter in the field of staff training for motorsport competitions’ organisation. Commercial Services The Autodrom’s circuit allows it to host open track days, where motorsport fans get the opportunity to test the Formula 1 track for themselves. The Sochi Autodrom’s team of professional drivers offers every visitor ‘taxi rides’ around the circuit. As part of regular venue tours, everyone also has a chance to visit the Race Control building; the team boxes and buildings, the Paddock Club and the VIP lounge. Sochi Autodrom is also actively used as a site for corporate events. Companies are offered spacious rooms to hold press conferences, new product presentations and business meetings of all levels. Sochi Autodrom is ready to offer interesting sponsorship packages and an attractive advertising space to potential partners. • Armiku I Klimës Në Modë Nga Gjergj Nika Qershor 2020

ACES WILD ACES WILD The Story of the British Grand Prix THE STORY OF THE Peter Miller Motor racing is one of the most 10. 3. BRITISH GRAND PRIX exacting and dangerous sports in the world today. And Grand Prix racing for Formula 1 single-seater cars is the RIX GREATS toughest of them all. The ultimate ambition of every racing driver since 1950, when the com petition was first introduced, has been to be crowned as 'World Cham pion'. In this, his fourth book, author Peter Miller looks into the back ground of just one of the annual qualifying rounds-the British Grand Prix-which go to make up the elusive title. Although by no means the oldest motor race on the English sporting calendar, the British Grand Prix has become recognised as an epic and invariably dramatic event, since its inception at Silverstone, Northants, on October 2nd, 1948. Since gaining World Championship status in May, 1950 — it was in fact the very first event in the Drivers' Championships of the W orld-this race has captured the interest not only of racing enthusiasts, LOONS but also of the man in the street. It has been said that the supreme test of the courage, skill and virtuosity of a Grand Prix driver is to w in the Monaco Grand Prix through the narrow streets of Monte Carlo and the German Grand Prix at the notorious Nürburgring. Both of these gruelling circuits cer tainly stretch a driver's reflexes to the limit and the winner of these classic events is assured of his rightful place in racing history.

insects Article History of the Biodiversity of Ladybirds (Coccinellidae) at the Black Sea Coast of the Russian Caucasus in the Last 120 Years—Does the Landscape Transformation and Establishment of Harmonia axyridis Have an Impact? Andrzej O. Bie ´nkowskiand Marina J. Orlova-Bienkowskaja * A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution, Russian Academy of Sciences, 119071 Moscow, Russia; [email protected] * Correspondence: [email protected] Received: 27 October 2020; Accepted: 21 November 2020; Published: 23 November 2020 Simple Summary: Studies of the history of regional insect fauna are important for understanding the changes in ecosystems and are therefore crucial for conservation decisions. The harlequin ladybird is a global invader that causes the decline of native ladybirds in some countries. Therefore, it is advisable to monitor the ladybird fauna in regions recently occupied by this species. We analyzed the dynamics of the fauna at the main sea resort of Russia over a period of 120 years to determine the following: (1) how the ladybird biodiversity changed during the intensive landscape transformation; (2) what alien species introduced for pest control have occurred to date; and (3) what the impact is of the harlequin ladybird on the ladybird fauna. We examined specimens collected by us and 54 other collectors including specimens from old museum collections and reconstructed the history of the biodiversity like a picture from puzzle pieces. Surprisingly, landscape transformation did not cause a decrease but rather an increase in ladybird biodiversity; most of the species recorded before 1930 have occurred to date, and 23 other species have spread to the region.
