www.ciadanzamobile.com SYNOPSIS

“Often, there are people whose sleeping voices rely on Art, in my case in The Flamenco, to amplify their sound, to gather strength, to beautify the listeners and to claim without cries as long as exists... the poetry . The Flamenco as a means and as an end “.

José Galán

‘BAILO ... luego existo’ is a variant of Descartes’ philosophical thought and refers to a phrase, which in turn expresses one of the fundamental principles of inclusive dance: I dance, therefo- re my own existence is undeniable . This is a show of dance with a lot of philosophy, as its performers feel the concern of seeking existence through the body and everything that surrounds them. The method towards truth starts from a strange world, absurd, abstract, disfigured, topical, typical, popular, romantic ... until you find;

‘I DANCE ... therefore I exist’. I dance ... do I dance because I exist? Or do I exist because I dance? When I look in the mirror, I always see myself dancing. (Extract of one of the lyrics of the show)

José Galán

‘I dance ... therefore I exist’ is composed of ten scenes, with two women dancers and one man dancer. Artists with and without disabilities (visual and intellectual). Four integrated interpreters, sharing the plot and defending their corresponding roles. Everyone on equal terms will discover their reason for being in the world: dance.

Artistic manifestation that through communicative expression confirms and enhances our personal identity, helps us to self-realize and find ourselves, like when we look ourselves in the mirror.
