Of monsters and men thousand eyes Continue Canonical Release: Under the Skin (Deluxe)Artist (s): Monsters and Men Lyrics Thousand Eyes Cancel This Storm Cancel This Storm Cancel This Storm to Cancel This Storm and Wait, I Can't Control the Withful Wonders Flowers That Lose My Shape I Don't Sleep and Watch It All It Feels like thousands of eyes I don't sleep and watch it all it feels like thousands of eyes I'll be calm I'll be quiet stripped to the bone, I'll wait no, I'll be a stone, I'll be a hunter tower that casts a shadow I'm lying awake and watching it all feels like thousands of eyes I'm not sleeping and watching it all feel like thousands of eyes I'm a storm I'm a storm so wait for Thanks To Kate for correcting these verses. Writer (s): Nanna Brindis Hilmarsdottir, Ragnar Torholsson She adds to this: No, I will be a stone / I will be a hunter. The rocks are strong and hard to break; there is nothing quieter than a stone sitting still. She wants power and quiet power. But she also wants to be a hunter. She no longer wants to be prey; she is tired of the chase and wants to chase the fear that preys on her. By doing so, she may be able to help others; it can become a tower that casts a shadow and protects those who need it. The next minute and a half is an instrumental bridge song that slowly rises in intensity and then falls on Nanna to sing: I storm, three times and , So wait, once. More than being calm in the storm and enduring it, she took over the power of the storm and accepted the abilities and responsibilities that she must survive. And instead of waiting, she orders others: So wait for her to make her move. She accepted who she was and gained power from that identity, which makes her a force that cannot be underestimated. The famous man TheoryPerhaps this song is about the process of becoming famous. The band was little known in Iceland, but became widely known. Getting all that popularity is probably overwhelming at first and the world wanting them to make a sequel to their first album could have felt like a storm. But they gained power from within themselves and released under their skin against difficult odds. Album and Strings I Storm / So wait may be their challenge to the rest of the world: We are strong and we can write more and better music! Thoughts?
