This study tried to find the most significant factors predicting implant prognosis using machine learning methods. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The data used in this study was based on a systematic search of chart files at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital for one year. In this period, oral and maxillofacial surgeons inserted 667 implants in 198 patients after consultation with a prosthodontist. The traditional statistical methods were inappropriate in this study, which analyzed the data of a small sample size to find a factor affecting the prognosis. The machine learning methods were used in this study, since these methods have analyzing power for a small sample size and are able to find a new factor that has been unknown to have an effect on the result.

Venereal syphilis has been a major research topic, not only in clinical medicine but also in paleopathology, especially because it is a disease of questionable origin and of high prevalence until the discovery of antibiotics. Syphilis in history has been studied extensively in Europe and the Americas, though less so in Asia. In this review, based on extant historical documents and available paleopathological data, we pinpoint the introduction and trace the spread of venereal syphilis in Korea to the end of the 19th century. In particular, a question Helena Hong Gao & Say Young Kim is posed with respect to how different cues are weighted in language processing and language acquisition when This study investigated 3- to 5-year-old Chinese- they are in conflict. It is expected that competing English bilingual children’s conceptual knowledge and approaches are presented and competition models in flexible interpretation of the words ‘big’ and ‘little’ in psycholinguistic research are applied to individual English and ‘dà’ and ‘xiǎo’ in Mandarin Chinese.

Email: [email protected] 2 Abstract Korean can be transcribed in two different scripts, one alphabetic (Hangul) and one logographic (Hanja). How does the mental lexicon represent the contributions of multiple scripts? Hangul’s highly transparent one-to-one relationship between spellings and sounds creates homophones in spoken Korean that are also homographs in Hangul, which can only be disambiguated through Hanja. We thus tested whether native speakers encoded the semantic contributions of the different Hanja characters sharing the same homographic form in Hangul in their mental representation of Sino-Korean.

Meals: 1 meal provided per day, Monday through Friday. Phones: The dorm rooms have phones that can be used to call to Japan. International calling cards are recommended. In the past, some students brought phone cards from the Japan, but they had difficulty using the cards. Sejong University has invited a Korean phone card salesman to meet the group, from whom you can buy inexpensive international phone cards. Computers: Bring your computers at your own risk of theft or damage due to travel. Internet cafes are readily available. Wi-Fi: Free & Available on SJU campus.
