St. John’s University M.A. Spanish The 33-credit graduate program in Spanish offers compre- hensive and advanced study in the literature, language, and culture of and America. Courses are taught entirely in Spanish by internationally renowned experts in their fields. Students may choose a thesis or non-thesis track for the pro- gram. Opportunities are available for students to study abroad in Spain and Argentina, as well as to secure Spanish-speaking internships in New York City and abroad.

Graduates who have studied Spanish at the master’s level will be able to compete for a variety of jobs that require knowledge of Spanish language and culture.
