St. John’s University M.A. Spanish The 33-credit graduate program in Spanish offers compre- hensive and advanced study in the literature, language, and culture of Spain and Latin America. Courses are taught entirely in Spanish by internationally renowned experts in their fields. Students may choose a thesis or non-thesis track for the pro- gram. Opportunities are available for students to study abroad in Spain and Argentina, as well as to secure Spanish-speaking internships in New York City and abroad.

Graduates who have studied Spanish at the master’s level will be able to compete for a variety of jobs that require knowledge of Spanish language and culture.
