Delhi’s waterscape heritage is unique as it has a continual natural water system and there is a huge potential Contents for pedestrianisation and urban connections along these waterways. The aim is to channelize pedestrian 1 Context 6 movement within the city, using the existing waterways, greens, historic and transit features of the city in order 1.1 Aims and Objectives 8 to enhance connectivity within the urban fabric. The endeavour is to create a pedestrian-friendly city. 1.2 Drain Channels in Delhi 10 The project re-imagines part of Najafgarh Waterway in .
