George Harrison – My Sweet Lord - All Things Must Pass ‘70 This was the major smash hit of the album by Christmas 1970. It was originally intended for the Edwin Hawkins Singers (who had record, “Oh Happy Day,” which greatly influenced “My Sweet Lord.” George had also let Billy Preston release his own version before George’s – but it was George’s version that was the huge hit and remains the biggest single song success of his entire solo career. 4 Ringo – Oh My Lord – Choose Love John Lennon – God - Plastic Ono Band ‘70 This was the definitive track on the LP. This song was “stuck together” from three different, unfinished compositions. This included a laundry list of John’s opinions on his lost beliefs (namely people and philosophies). This was the song that confirmed the Beatles were over – John revealed he didn’t believe in the band, nor was Paul the walrus. John finally reveals that he was indeed the walrus. Released October 5, 1962, it reached #17 on the British charts. Principally written by Paul McCartney in 1958 and 1959. Recorded with three different drummers: Pete Best (June 6, 1962, EMI), Ringo Starr (September 4, 1962), and Andy White (September 11, 1962 with Ringo playing tambourine). The 45 rpm single lists the songwriters as Lennon-McCartney. One of several Beatles songs Paul McCartney owns with Yoko Ono. Starting with the songs recorded for their debut album on February 11, 1963, Lennon and McCartney’s output was attached to their Northern Songs publishing company. Because their first single was released before John and Paul had contracted with a music publisher, EMI assigned it to their own, a company called Ardmore and Beechwood, which took the two songs “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You.” Decades later McCartney and Ono were able to purchase the songs for their respective companies, MPL Communications and Lenono Music. Fun fact: John Lennon shoplifted the harmonica he played on the song from a shop in Holland. Paul McCartney, From Beatles to Wings Family Way Soundtrack London M‐76007 or MS‐82007 Jun. 12, 1967 Paul's first musical effort after the Beatles' rise to fame was one of composition. He wrote the score for the soundtrack to an obscure Hayley Mills ("The Parent Trap") film, called The Family Way. His tracks were collectively known as "Love in the Open Air," and in England a single was pressed, but nowhere did the record sell. Although issued in all known formats at the time (reel tape, four track, eight track, cassette, and LP), and though Paul's name was featured prominently on the cover, the instrumental album failed to sell well enough to crack the charts. In all formats, the album is scarce. McCartney Apple STAO‐3363 Apr. 17, 1970 Paul's first "real" solo album was a true solo effort, since he plays all of the instruments. The album was recorded in Paul's basement in Scotland, which by this time had been converted into a studio (resembling Abbey Road's studio #2). The album was released just one week after Paul's announcement that he was leaving the Beatles, a fact that did not go unnoticed by the fans who drove the album to the #1 chart position. Two songs were notable at the time, "Every Night" and "Maybe, I'm Amazed," the latter of which received heavy airplay. "Teddy Boy" had been intended for the Beatles' Get Back project, but since the group wound up leaving it off of Let It Be, Paul chose to include his own version here.

When the band finally formed in 2016, they began to perform in different stages and bars in Montevideo. At the end of 2016 they competed in the Beatle Week battle of the bands at The Cavern in Buenos Aires, reaching the final, and in 2017 they decided to take the leap and present a show in one of the great theaters of Montevideo in which they recreated chronologically the music of The Beatles.
