MADE HERSELF READY REVELATION 19:5 5 ¶ And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. REVELATION 19:6 6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Hallelujah is taken directly from the Hebrew and is made up of two words hallel, meaning "praise," and jah, a basic word for God. REVELATION 19:7 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. REVELATION 19:8 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. REVELATION 19:4 4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. REVELATION 19:5 5 ¶ And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. REVELATION 19:6 6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. REVELATION 19:7 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. JEREMIAH 3:1 1 ¶ They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD. HOSEA 2:19 19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. HOSEA 2:20 20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD. EZEKIEL 16:8 8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine. EZEKIEL 16:9 9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil. EZEKIEL 16:10 10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk. PSALM 45:8 8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. PSALM 45:9 9 Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. PSALM 45:10 10 ¶ Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; PSALM 45:11 11 So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. PSALM 45:12 12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. PSALM 45:13 13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. PSALM 45:14 14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. PSALM 45:15 15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace. PSALM 45:16 16 Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. PSALM 45:17 17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever. MATTHEW 22:1 1 ¶ And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, MATTHEW 22:2 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, MATTHEW 22:3 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. MATTHEW 22:4 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. MATTHEW 22:5 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: MATTHEW 22:6 6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. MATTHEW 22:7 7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. MATTHEW 22:8 8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. MATTHEW 22:9 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. MATTHEW 22:10 10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. JOHN 3:29 29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. II CORINTHIANS 11:2 2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. EPHESIANS 5:22 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. EPHESIANS 5:23 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. EPHESIANS 5:24 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. EPHESIANS 5:25 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; EPHESIANS 5:26 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, EPHESIANS 5:27 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. REVELATION 19:7 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. MADE: hetoimazo {het-oy-mad'-zo} to make ready, prepare: to make the necessary preparations, get everything ready; figuratively, drawn from the oriental custom of sending on before kings on their journeys persons to level the roads and make them passable; to prepare the minds of men to give the Messiah a fit reception and secure his blessings.
