Coco DIY Cereal Box Guitar

Upcycle common household supplies to create your own guitar!
Materials: - Cereal box - Cardboard tube (paper towel tube, etc.) - Clothespins - Rubber bands of various sizes - Washi tape or duct tape - Hot glue gun - Box cutter or scissors
Directions: 1. Trace a large circle into the center of the cereal box and cut it out carefully. 2. Next, trace a circle on the top of the cereal box, using the cardboard tube as a guide. Attach the cardboard tube the traced circle using tape to seal the top of the box around the tube. 3. Stretch rubber bands of various sizes around the box. Tape the bands in place on top and bottom of the box. 4. Secure three “frets” to the top of the cardboard tube using a hot glue gun.

Directions: 1. Using the toilet paper roll, cut slits on the bottom. 2. Push it down towards the ground so the slits spread apart. 3. Paint or color the whole body. 4. After the paint dries, add googly eyes. 5. Draw the octopus’s smile and add gems or stickers to the body.

Create a Tangled inspired paper lantern!
Materials: - Construction paper - Toilet paper rolls - Scissors - Glue - Coloring supplies
Directions: 1. Cut construction paper the size of the toilet paper roll. 2. Wrap the cut construction paper around the toilet paper roll. 3. Measure another piece of paper to fit around your toilet paper roll. 4. Fold it in half and cut from the folded size. Leave about an inch edge on the paper. 5. Unfold the paper and secure the two ends to make the lantern. You can use glue or a stapler.
