Elections to Bath and Wells Diocesan Synod 2021 The Diocesan Synod considers matters referred from General Synod, Deanery Synods, PCCs and from individual Synod members. It formulates diocesan policy on a wide range of issues, assists the Bishops and their staff to support and oversee the work of the diocese, approves the budget, and debates important local and national issues affecting the Church. There are 3 Lay vacancies and anyone on the Church Electoral Roll can stand. This is an opportunity for you to represent your parish and help shape the way we move forward together - ‘Living and Telling the Story’ of Christ here in Somerset.
