Company has recently established a Responsibility Accounting Department under the direction of Mr. J. W. Hall, Manager. Since the employees assigned to this depart- ment will primarily come from the General Accounting Department, Company proposes that employees assigned to it be considered as a part of the Clerical Bargaining Unit. Further, for purposes of Titles 18 and 19 of the Agreement dated July 1, 1953 and Exhibit A of such Agreement, that the new department be considered as a part of the General Accounting Department. For your information, in the initial manning of the new department, the following employees will be transferred from the Accounts Assignment Section of the General Accounting Department: Mrs. Edna Cortopassi (Clerk A) Mr. Kenneth Braband (Clerk A) Mr. Robert Aliamus (Clerk C) Mr. Gary Stelling (Clerk C) Mr. Benjamin Casey (Clerk C) Mr. Werner Hajek (Clerk C) Mr. Donald Heffern (Clerk C) Miss Roberta Krebs (Clerk D) Mrs. Maude Lau (Clerk D) Mrs. Ellen Boyd (Clerk D) If Union agrees to the proposals made above, such transfers will be made under Section 18.6 of the Agreement. We expect that two additional employees will be transferred from the Payroll Section of the General Accounting Department at a later date.
