Duration of the survey: January 11-31, 2019
Participants: 759 (including 1 drop-out)
Recommendations for Action
Fields of action for the Campus:
- Create additional parking spaces for Campus employees - Provided that more car parking spaces have been created: Charge a low parking fee to promote on-campus transport projects, with a focus on green mobility - Develop a traffic concept for the Campus as an update of the Campus master plan; thereby improving the safety of pedestrians and cyclists - Create additional Nextbike locations, e.g. at Building 89 - Additional parking spaces for carsharing cars - Make carsharing flexible for the Campus: cars can be parked at other locations, no overnight costs - Set up a bicycle air filling station at the bicycle repair shop - Improve access to the Campus (e.g. reduce barriers) - Annual meetings with the MDC's bicycle officers to discuss the further development of bicycle mobility
Fields of action for the district/Senate/BVG/Nextbike:
- Talk to the BVG about setting up a mobility hub at the S-Bahn station and/or Campus, increasing the bus frequency (e.g. bus 158) and setting up additional bus lines to the east (Ahrensfelde/Hellersdorf) - Together with the district, request that the Senate establish a regional stop / regional station in Berlin-Buch - Demand the improvement of cycle connections to Buch (Panke bicycle path and from Lindenberg/Bridge A10) from the district, the Senate or the municipality of Panketal - With the support of the BVV (district), demand that the Senate establish a traffic light at the intersection of Robert-Rössle-Str. / Karower Chaussee. The BVV decision has already been made and only needs to be implemented. - Negotiate with Nextbike about the establishment of other rental bike stations on Campus (e.g. entrance Lindenberger Weg) as well as at the S-Bahn station Karow or Blankenburg) - Pursue the proposal of a bicycle highway from S-Bahn Station Buch to the Campus Question 1: Where do you come from / in which postal code area do you live?
