» The Bean Ba Bulls, led by a : predominantly Hicksville Roster, took the Class B leagu championshi of the Town of Oyste Ba with a record of 1 wins and losses. Coaches Bob Normile, Chick Rieder and Joe Grams helped lead the team to a shocking first plac finish. The Bulls, a first year team, grew to national prominenc b beating some of the best teams in out-of-state tour- naments. Led by the hitting of Jim Normile with an average of .578 Bill Kaiser (.508) and Jim Wheeler (.501) and th pitching of Ralp Prossimo and Bill Grams, the team was a threat to all. The power was supplied b Bobby Normile, Pete Corrigan and Ralph Bonghi. Protecting the plate were Frank Marzillo and Tony Ried- er. Valuable contributions were also provided b Jr. Valez Ken Normile, Rory Wallace, Dennis Normile, Frank Williams and Joe Morace. As always the cheerin section was an inspiration to us all with their undying en- thusiasm. This was all made possible b our sponsor, Joe Shehan. With this combination of factors, the Bulls will be in contention for the national title in 1987.
