Dear Fans: It is with great pride and respect that the Dallas Cowboys welcome you to share in the historic opening of Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The 2009 NFL season gives all of us the wonderful opportunity to participate in a milestone that carries great regional, national and international significance. Cowboys Stadium is unlike any other that has come before. From the digital video boards that stretch 60 yards under a retractable roof to the sliding glass doors that reach up 120 feet high in each end zone. From the stadium’s two signature arches that each exceed the span of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis to a capacity that can reach more than 100,000 guests. Every element of this venue is designed to offer fans a game day sports and entertainment experience that is both unprecedented and unforgettable. The cornerstones upon which the stadium was constructed extend far beyond mortar and steel. The foundation upon which Cowboys Stadium stands is a phi- losophy of providing the absolute best in the areas of customer service and fan comfort. This is your home, and that is our promise. Our commitment to create something that is bigger and better than any of its predecessors was inspired by the fans of the Dallas Cowboys—who for half a century have elevated this franchise to a level that has always been larger than life. Your standards and expectations have always motivated the Cowboys to ex- ceed theirs. A football team’s stadium is only a structure—until it is filled with fans—and then it becomes a home. Cowboys Stadium, when filled with Cowboys fans, will become a magical place where dreams will be realized and history will be created for generations and generations to come. Sincerely, Jerry Jones The first diet cola for men. • "The Olympics Don't Take American Express"
“…..and the Olympics didn’t take American Express” Chapter One: How ‘Bout Those Cowboys I inherited a predisposition for pain from my father, Ron, a born and raised Buffalonian with a self- mutilating love for the Buffalo Bills. As a young boy, he kept scrap books of the All American Football Conference’s original Bills franchise. In the 1950s, when the AAFC became the National Football League and took only the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, and Baltimore Colts with it, my father held out for his team. In 1959, when my father moved the family across the country to San Jose, California, Ralph Wilson restarted the franchise and brought Bills’ fans dreams to life. In 1960, during the Bills’ inaugural season, my father resumed his role as diehard fan, and I joined the ranks. It’s all my father’s fault. My father was the one who tapped his childhood buddy Larry Felser, a writer for the Buffalo Evening News, for tickets. My father was the one who took me to Frank Youell Field every year to watch the Bills play the Oakland Raiders, compliments of Larry. By the time I had celebrated Cookie Gilcrest’s yardage gains, cheered Joe Ferguson’s arm, marveled over a kid called Juice, adapted to Jim Kelly’s K-Gun offense, got shocked by Thurman Thomas’ receptions, felt the thrill of victory with Kemp and Golden Wheels Dubenion, and suffered the agony of defeat through four straight Super Bowls, I was a diehard Bills fan. Along with an entourage of up to 30 family and friends, I witnessed every Super Bowl loss.

  • 1967 APBA PRO FOOTBALL SET ROSTER the Following Players Comprise the 1967 Season APBA Pro Football Player Card Set
1967 APBA PRO FOOTBALL SET ROSTER The following players comprise the 1967 season APBA Pro Football Player Card Set. The regular starters at each position are listed first and should be used most frequently. Realistic use of the players below will generate statistical results remarkably similar to those from real life. IMPORTANT: When a Red "K" appears in the R-column as the result on any kind of running play from scrimmage or on any return, roll the dice again, refer to the K-column, and use the number there for the result. When a player has a "K" in his R-column, he can never be used for kicking or punting. If the symbol "F-K" or "F-P" appears on a players card, it means that you use the K or P column when he recovers a fumble. Players in bold are starters. If there is a difference between the player's card and the roster sheet, always use the card information. The number in ()s after the player name is the number of cards that the player has in this set. See below for a more detailed explanation of new symbols on the cards.
