Venue Guide Rose Garden Woodland Park Rose Garden offers a splendid setting for your wedding ceremony. Stroll through the grass pathways circulating through 2 acres of roses. The extensive collection of rose displays blends elegantly with the garden’s formal architectural designs and picturesque lily pond and gazebo. A memorable backdrop for your special day! The Woodland Park Rose Garden seats up to 150 guests and accommodates up to 200, seated and standing.

The Rain Forest Pavilion The Rain Forest Pavilion is adjacent to the ’s West Entrance and surrounded by a large, wrap-around patio adorned by lush greenery. This large, atrium-type building is filled with natural light and accommodates up to 250 seated guests and 400 standing guests. The Rain Forest Pavilion is the perfect setting for receptions.

It is a beautiful outdoor setting for receptions and ceremonies, seating up to 300 guests.

Family Farm The Family Farm is the perfect setting for a country casual celebration while never leaving the city. The quaint fruit orchard is a great backdrop for your ceremony, while guests can view the cows, miniature donkeys, and other barnyard animals during the reception. You and your guests will enjoy this charming setting for your one of a kind event.

Jaguar Cove adds tropical ambiance to a cocktail party, rehearsal dinner or reception. If you are looking for a sit- down dinner for up to 60 guests or a standing reception for 120, this extraordinary outdoor venue will surely make your event impressionable. Jaguar Cove is available for evening events.

African Village Turn your next event into a lively experience at the African Village. Friends and family will be drawn into the rural village life of East Africa where they will encounter a traditional Kikuyu house, the Nyika Primary School, a banda hut, along with an array of authentic cultural objects and artifacts. Overlooking the award-winning African Savanna, the African Village is located near the South Entrance and accommodates up to 500 of your favorite people within the village and South Plaza. The Nyika Primary School is a perfect setting for a smaller ceremony of 55 guests. If you are looking for a more intimate affair for your private dinner party, reception or cocktail hour, the African Village seats up to 100. The African Village is available for evening events.

Our award-winning Northern Trail exhibit is the perfect setting for your small to mid-size ceremony, reception or rehearsal dinner. Taiga Shelter, Tundra Center and overlook can be rented individually or in conjunction to accommodate a 200 person reception style event.

Elk Overlook Suspended amid the lush tree canopy, Elk Overlook makes the perfect location for an intimate ceremony or festive cocktail party. The raised boardwalk makes the perfect isle way towards a 360 degree view of the Northern Trail, including the Elk Exhibit. Your guests will feel immersed in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Situated close to both the Taiga Viewing Shelter and Tundra Center, Elk Overlook, is a convenient and beautiful complement to your reception venue. (70 seated, 70 reception)

Tundra Center The Tundra Center can be your very own intimate spot for your extraordinarily wild rehearsal dinner or small reception. A breath- taking, hand painted curving mural immerses visitors in the arctic tundra and seats up to 40 people comfortably or standing receptions for 60.

Taiga Viewing Shelter The Taiga Viewing Shelter is located in the heart of the Northern Trail and overlooks the naturalistic brown bear and North American river otter exhibits. This building can play host to an array of events for your group such as a rehearsal dinner or reception. Bring your group to the zoo and treat them to an evening adventure. (60 seated, 100 reception)

Our Humboldt penguin exhibit is an exciting outdoor venue that features our stunning re-creation of the unique part of the world that these endangered penguins call home. Watch their playful antics as you enjoy your scrumptious catered event.

Zoomazium Zoomazium is the zoo’s nature-themed indoor play space designed especially for younger children, but it’s available for rental no matter what your age! Zoomazium is the zoo’s first LEED certified green building. It can accommodate up to 150 for a reception-style event or 70 for a seated dinner. It is available for evening events and is perfect for holiday parties and cocktail receptions.
