Rental Equipment Your event site may require the rental of equipment, including tables, chairs and canopies. Your Group Sales representative will determine how much rental equipment is needed and will facilitate the reservation, set-up and removal of this equipment.

Canopy Rental Policy There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required when a canopy reservation is placed. If you choose to cancel your reservation, you must do so within five (5) business days of the event or be subject to full payment of the canopy.

Equipment Reservations There is a 50% deposit required when the reservation is placed. Equipment cancellations will be accepted up to 14 days prior to the event date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the delivery date will be subject to full payment of the equipment. WILD ACTIVITIES

Animal Encounters $250.00 Invite an animal to your event! A zoo naturalist will introduce you to one of our amazing creatures and discuss their impressive adaptations for survival. Meet any of the following animals up close and personal: beautiful birds of prey; an armored armadillo; inquisitive hedgehog; bizarre arthropods (emperor scorpions, giant walkingsticks); remarkable reptiles, a frolicking ferret, or a cuddly bunny. Your guests will have a wild time! All programs are 30 minutes in length and are subject to climate and availability of animals. After 5:00 p.m., add $50.00

ZOO-lympic Games $400.00/hr. Can you survive a perilous migration, withstand a harsh Antarctic winter or find enough food using only your hearing? Demonstrate your animal Olympian strength, speed and intelligence by joining our ZOO-lympic Games activities. A friendly competition guaranteed to put a smile on your face — everyone’s a winner! Great for families and childrens’ groups. Participants receive a ZOO-lympian ribbon.

Zoofari $300.00 Take a walk on the wild side with a zoo naturalist and get the inside scoop on our furry, feathery and leathery critters. Learn about their struggle for survival and discover what Woodland Park Zoo is doing to help conserve and protect these fascinating animals and their habitats. Choose your tour from the following exhibits: Northern Trail, Tropical Asia, Tropical Rain Forest and African Savanna. Each Zoofari is available during regular zoo hours and lasts approximately 45-60 minutes. Maximum group size is 30 people per tour title.

Craft Station price varies Choose from a variety of animal crafts; a wonderful keepsake of your day at the zoo. Station includes crafts table, supplies and your selection of crafts.

Willawong Station (seasonal) $1.00 for seedstick Willawong Station gives visitors a one-of-a-kind exhibit featuring dozens of colorful Australian birds. This walk-through exhibit provides a unique experience to have an up-close encounter with birds, including handfeeding opportunities with these beautiful and amazing animals.

Dinosaurs $3.00 After 65 million years the dinosaurs are back. Learn about these fascinating species that once walked the earth with life sized animatronic reproductions.

Concert Picnics: Eat like the band Host your picnic to coincide with one of our ZooTunes Concerts. Each year, Woodland Park Zoo presents ten or more groovy concerts on our North Meadow. Past artists include Cyndi Lauper, Great Big Sea, Pink Martini, Indigo Girls and Amos Lee. Have you ever wondered what your favorite artist is eating backstage? This is your unique opportunity to find out! Treat your employees or clients to this exciting outing or gather your friends and come as a group.

Cost Adult (13 years and up) $160 per person Child (3 to 12 years) $120 per person Infant (2 and under) Free Minimum of 20 people per group, maximum of 100 people. Events on zoo grounds during operating hours require the purchase of zoo admission tickets. Groups hosting private events have the option to purchase tickets in advance or register for the post-billing option through a Sales & Events Specialist. Note: Admission tickets are not required for the Rose Garden or for zoo members.

For after-hour events, admissions and parking are included. A staff member will be provided complimentary to greet your guests at one gate for up to one hour. Additional hours may be purchased at $35 per hour. Guests who exit zoo grounds after the allotted hour will not be allowed re-entry to the zoo without prior arrangement.

Zoo Hours Open daily except Christmas Day. Summer May 1 - September 30 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Winter October 1 - April 30 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

CANOPY & EQUIPMENT POLICY If you choose to cancel any rental equipment, including canopies, you must do so by noon 14 business days prior to your event; at time of cancellation please note the zoo will retain a 50% rental fee. If you choose to cancel less than 14 business days prior to your event, the zoo will retain 100% of the rental fee. PARKING If you choose to park in zoo parking lots, the fee is $5.25 per car. In addition, street parking is available on a limited basis. Parking is complimentary after zoo hours. Directions are available on our website at www.zoo.org. Note: Availability of parking cannot be guaranteed. DEPOSITS To reserve a space for your event, a non-refundable one-half of the event fees must be received within two (2) weeks of a contract. Cancellations within 30 days of an event will require full payment of venues. Security deposit: Your contract will require a credit card number that will be charged only in the event of damage to the event site. RESTRICTIONS For the safety of the animals and fellow zoo visitors, certain items may not be brought onto zoo grounds. We must ask that balloons, piñatas, balls, Frisbees and other flying objects not be part of your event. Clowns, mascots, costumes and other “circus” type items are also prohibited. Please consult your Sales & Events specialist before bringing items and activities into the zoo. In compliance with quarantine restrictions and park regulations, pets, skateboards, bicycles and firearms are not allowed at Woodland Park Zoo. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP Become a member of the zoo!
