To ensure awareness and sustainability, the plan includes encouraging the use of public transportation whenever possible. It is expected that public transportation هيئة ُم ِبتكره will be of 51% of the transportation used to reach the location of the exhibition out of the total number of trips. The execution of this plan has already started by developing essential procedures including extending the Red Line of the metro by 15 Km from the Nakheel Harbor & Tower Station to the Expo 2020 Location. The extension will contain 7 stations, and one will be dedicated for servicing the exhibition.
