LOGLINE A one-time musician who owns a struggling record store in Red Hook, Brooklyn, forms an unlikely band with his daughter the summer before she is set to leave for college.

US THEATRICAL RELEASE After a critically acclaimed premiere as the closing film of the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, the film has built momentum playing select festivals nationwide including SXSW, Montclair Film Festival, IFF Boston, and more. Hearts Beat Loud opened on June 8th in prime NYC and LA theatres to the #1 PSA of the weekend and will continue to expand throughout the summer. By the end of its theatrical run, the film will have been in 300+ theaters nationwide.

MARKETING STRATEGY Hearts Beat Loud is CERTIFIED FRESH! The film has resonated with critics and audiences as a timely ode to inclusion, love, and tolerance. G&S has catalyzed word of mouth with very strong PR, engaging multiple specialized PR agencies for Los Angeles, New York, regional, music and LGBTQIA+.

The film is music-driven, and the soundtrack is a key focus. Hearts Beat Loud's soundtrack is available digitally, on CD, and on vinyl with Milan Records. Spotify has been an incredibly supportive marketing partner and has chosen Nick and Hearts Beat Loud to curate their Film and TV Favorites playlist for June.

The cast is fully committed to the film, and to supporting its release. Opening weekend was supported through Q&As by Nick, Kiersey, and director Brett Haley as well as social support from the entire cast. Nick promoted HBL on GOOD MORNING AMERICA, Conan, and LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT; Kiersey has also visited CONAN , and Ted has also visited THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN.
