Letter to the Editor I am concerned about the speed that motorists drive in the 50km zones coming into the Waiau Pa village and out especially from Clarks Beach. We walk our dogs daily and find that most of the traffic takes no notice of speed limits on these roads. Considering there is a school, kindergarten and the village shops etc in this busy area it is absolutely appalling. I note that a few weeks ago a police car spent some time around the area but he was in a marked car, he said there had been complaints about the driving.
