This can be obtained from the Sales Office either on the day of viewing or on the day of the sale. The Lot 13 second a wedding arch similarly embroidered and with sequins and small white beads with fabric 14 Kantha quilt, west Bengal, east India, tassels to the edges, 42in. 107cm. Wide x 14in. second half 20th century, 76in. x 53in. 193cm. x 36cm. At the centre with the shaped side panels 135cm. extending to 42in., 107cm. Long. With fabric ties. Open at the back 56in. 236cm. x 142cm. The second: 79in. x 64in. with hook and eye fastenings. An almost identical 200cm. x 163cm. Two late 19th/early 20th century, 13ft. 6in. x 6ft. small splits to each side top and centre split at 4.12m. x 1.83m. Some wear and small holes. top. Provenance: This was a gift from a Tongan £100-150 fisherman in 1973 and was one of 40 folded up and stored under a bed. £100-200 Lot 16 Lot 19 17 Rajasthan summer floor covering, north India, early 20th century, 8ft. 10in. x 8ft. 1in. 20 Early Victorian sampler worked by Naomi 2.69m. x 2.46m. Block printed cotton. Some Tull, aged 10 years, March 23rd 1846, surface marks, small repairs and smudging or embroidered in silk on a fine linen ground, 13in. x slight colour run. 12 1/2in. 33cm. x 32cm. And 25in. x 44cm. x 30cm. Embroidered in silk with a verse 23 1/2in. 63cm. x 60cm. Fraying; breaks in places in the centre: and some colour run; together with three black 'Fragrant the Rose is .....' Small insect holes in silk border fragments and a European cream silk places; surface/dust marks crepe shawl, 50in. 127cm. sq. printed with especially to the edges. In a burr walnut frame; flowers and foliage. Surface marks. (7) some damages; and glazed. £100-150 £150-250 Lot 18 Lot 21 22 Fine Victorian embroidery, 25in. x 16in., 26 Attractive American applique quilt, mid- 64cm. x 41cm. of a sparrowhawk, worked on fine 19th century, 84in., 213cm. sq. Unlined. Some canvas in petit point in silk and wool; some fading time spots/ surface marks in places. Cf. Safford, to the edges. Framed and glazed.
