Sláma U Školské zahrady 718/3, 182 00 Praha 8- Kobylisy, Czechia e-mail: [email protected] Key words: taxonomy, Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, new subspecies, Agapanthia, Tetrops. Abstract: Agapanthia asphodeli balcanica ssp. n. from Greece and Tetrops gilvipes mikati ssp. n. from Slovakia are decsribed. Many years ago, when I collected Agapanthia asphodeli (Latreille, 1804), specimens caught in France exerted obvious differences from those found in Greece. Differences between the nominotopical form collected in France (Figs 1-2) and imagines collected in Greece were particularly distinct in photographs. A description of the new subspecies Agapanthia asphodeli balcanica ssp. n. from Greece is thus presented here. The description of Tetrops gilvipes mikati ssp. n. is based on a series of specimens caught in East Slovakia many years ago, which was published by me before (Sláma, 2018) as Tetrops gilvipes adlbaueri Lazarev, 2012 - new to Slovakia. Several abbreviations are used in the text: MM - collection of Miroslav Mikát (Hradec Králové, Czech Republic). NMP - National Museum (Prague, Czech Republic). SMNK - Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde Karlsruhe, Landesmuseum. Agapanthia asphodeli balcanica ssp. n. Species lists by John Muddeman and Teresa Farino. All photos in this report were taken during the course of the trip, those edged grey by Teresa Farino, and edged blue by David and Diana Melzack. Cover montage: Snowfinch above Fuente Dé; Southern Chamois above Fuente Dé; Marsh Fritillaries at the Sierra de ****; Elder-flowered Orchid at San Glorio. Below: the glacial lakes in the central massif above Fuente Dé. As with all Honeyguide holidays, part of the price of the holiday was put towards a conservation project, in this case the Fundación Oso Pardo (FOP), the Spanish Brown Bear Conservation Foundation, and its work protecting both this species and its habitat in northern Spain. The conservation contribution this year of £40 per person was supplemented by gift aid through the Honeyguide Wildlife Charitable Trust. During the holiday, Fernando Ballesteros, chief biologist with the FOP, and Elsa Sánchez, a member of the team that patrols the area around Pesaguero, came to El Hoyal to talk to the group, showing an interesting film about Cantabrican brown bears. A lively discussion with members of the group about the biology and behaviour of these last few remaining bears ensued, after which Peter Crook presented Fernando with a cheque for 742€ (£640), which he accepted on behalf of the FOP. -

The taxa of Cryptocephalinae (Clytrini), Synetinae and part of Galerucinae introduced by Carl Peter Thunberg are reviewed based on the examination of primary type specimens deposited in the Museum of Evolution, Uppsala University. Munis Entomology & Zoology, 7 (1): 22-45] ABSTRACT. The paper gives an annotated list of the Cerambycidae collected during the entomological surveys carried on in the years 2010 and 2011 by G. Sama and P. Rapuzzi in central and eastern Turkey. The most interesting records regard Trichoferus fissitarsis Sama, & Fallahzadeh & Rapuzzi, 2005 and Turanoclytus ilamensis (Holzschuh, 1975) which are new records for the Turkish fauna. Many species constitute the first record for various Turkish provinces. Phytoecia katarinae (Holzschuh, 1974) is transferred to the genus Semiangusta Pic, 1893. KEY WORDS: Cerambycidae, Coleoptera, new records, Turkey. During the years 2010 and 2011 G. Sama and P. Rapuzzi organized scientific expeditions to the Anatolian peninsula in order to verify the distribution of Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, especially in the southern and eastern provinces of this country. H. Özdikmen gave assistance during both trips solving serious problems of various kind. The itinerary of the first trip (13 June–2 July 2010) included the following provinces: Ankara, Yozgat, Sivas, Erzincan, Tunceli, Elazığ, Bingöl, MuĢ, Bitlis, Van, Hakkari, ġırnak, Mardin, Adıyaman, KahramanmaraĢ, Malatya, Tokat and Ordu. -
