ANNE CHARLESTON
Anne is beloved by Australian audiences for her long-running roles as Madge Bishop in Neighbours and Deidre Kean in Prisoner . The success of Neighbours in the United Kingdom in particular brought Anne international recognition. She subsequently relocated to Ireland and performed a variety of roles for television and the stage in the UK. These included Lily Butterfield in Emmerdale , Dossa in the BBC co- production Dossa and Joe , Jessie in The Calendar Girls and a guest role in Holby City. Anne returned to Australia recently to appear in Wentworth and has made Australia her home once again.
