Prvo Posebno priznanje dodeljuje se časopisu za umetničku igru ORCHESTRA ORCHESTRA je jedini stručni časopis u našoj zemlji u celini posvećen svim vidovima umetničke igre.     Introduction The World Ballet Festival Returns for Summer 2018 From the 14th World Ballet FestivalPhoto: Kiyonori Hasegawa For more than 40 years now, the most talented and renowned dancers have come to Tokyo from around the world to perform in the World Ballet Festival, which will once again be held this summer. When it was first introduced in 1976 under the leadership of Tadatsugu Sasaki, it was very rare for the star ballerinas of different companies or countries to share a stage. Its first edition caused an international sensation by bringing together three legends, Margot Fonteyn from the UK, Maya Plisetskaya from the Soviet Union and Alicia Alonso from Cuba. Since then stars such as Jorge Donn, Patrick Dupond, Sylvie Guillem, Alessandra Ferri, Manuel Legris and Vladimir Malakhov have become regular participants, bringing the audiences to a storm of excitement every time and inspiring them to watch and compare all the dancers perform.     Review: Taylor Stanley Rises in City Ballet’s ‘Hallelujah Junction’ By GIA KOURLAS MAY 18, 2016 Taylor Stanley of New York City Ballet dancing “Hallelujah Junction.” CreditPaul Kolnik Peter Martins, the ballet master in chief of New York City Ballet, loves to give his dancers happy surprises. On Tuesday evening, moments before the curtain rose on “Hallelujah Junction,” Mr. Martins’s brisk, galvanic work set to John Adams, he promoted Taylor Stanley, one of its leads, to principal dancer. Filling in at the last minute for an injured Gonzalo Garcia, Mr. Stanley was making his New York debut in the role, at the David H. Koch Theater. Mr. Martins’s decision was spontaneous, a City Ballet publicist said. But it makes sense: The debonair Mr. Stanley has an affinity for speed and drama and has been frequently featured in the ballets of Justin Peck, the company’s resident choreographer. His sharp attack was apparent in “Hallelujah”; later that night, in “Western Symphony,” George Balanchine’s 1954 homage to the Wild West, he showed some spunk, loosening up to find the cowboy within. In that ballet, which remains a delight, Brittany Pollack made her debut in the second movement opposite Jared Angle, gamely leaping headfirst into his arms with little fear and an ever-gleaming smile. (Her perpetually happy expression can seem one-note.) In the final movement, the willowy Teresa Reichlen, though she faltered uncharacteristically in her fouetté turns, and a devilish Andrew Veyette imbued their frisky pas de deux with a spirit that showed they weren’t just executing moves, but reacting to each other.

Nach den großartigen Erfolgen der letzten fünf Jahre, mit StartänzerInnen wie z.B. Svetlana Zakharova Lucia Lacarra oder Vladimir Malakhov haben die Veranstalter von DanceXperience an einem neuen Konzept für das internationale Balletthighlight gefeilt, das im Grand Théâtre Luxemburg am 26. und 27. Mai 2018 zur Aufführung kommen und der begeisterten Fangemeinde sicherlich erneut Standing Ovations entlocken wird. “A Breeze of Russian Seasons” soll einerseits an den großen Impresario Sergei Diaghilev erinnern, der durch seine schöpferische Kraft und Kühnheit die Welt des Balletts vor über 100 Jahren revolutionierte, sowie als Hommage dem genialen französisch-russischen Balletttänzer und Choreographen Marius Petipa anlässlich seines 200. Geburtstages gewidmet werden. Als Ehrengast beim ersten Gala-Abend wird die russische Tanzlegende Vladimir Vasiliev erwartet, der auch die Programmierung des Abends zwischen seiner damaligen Zeit und der Gegenwart inspiriert hat. Neben den akademischen Klassikern wagen die Veranstalter einige Experimente und verleihen ihrer Gala eine neue Ausrichtung. So wird z.B. eine internationale Kreation präsentiert, in deren Verlauf sich Hip Hop (Kendra Horsburgh, Luxembourg) und Ballett (Francesco Costa, Wiener Staatsballett) zu einer Einheit verschmelzen.
