The "Nikko limited express" departs Shinjuku station and makes - JAPANLAND stops at Ikebukuro station, Omiya station, Tochigi Station, Shin- - Karin Muller Kanuma Station & Shimoimaichi station before terminating at Tobu - Visit Japan Rail & Nikko Station or Kinugawa Onsen station. Travel Seminar - JNTO San Francisco The one-way journey lasts about two hours and cost 3,900 yen Office Closed (reserved) each way. A pass is offered as the "JR/Tobu Nikko/ Kinugawa Excursion Ticket" or as the "JR/Tobu Nikko/ Kinugawa Free Pass". Costing 7800 yen, the pass is valid for three consecutive days and includes one round-trip on the joint JR/Tobu limited express service and unlimited travel on local Tobu trains and buses within that area.Some facilities & shops in the area also offer discounts on entrance fees and purchases upon showing the JR/Tobu Nikko/Kinugawa Excursion Ticket.
The JR East Pass holder can use this new service for a surcharge 1,560 yen (to cover the portion of the trip between Kurihashi and Tobu-Nikko that is operated by Tobu Railways).
