If you have any questions, please contact Edna (917) 346-5378. This year our Nativity Kids Group will be participating in

a special Lent/Easter project to contemplate the God Bless You and thank you for your help!!! suffering of Christ for our salvation and helping to lift the spirits of those who are currently suffering from illness, desperation, and/ or loneliness. This will be our 5th year organizing this special project.

Our project is to create care package Easter baskets for cancer patients at Calvary Hospital (a well-known hospital and hospice for those suffering from terminal cancer).

The goal of these care baskets is the lift the spirits of these patients and to give them the hope that our Lord Jesus Christ gave to us at Easter!

Calvary Hospital has invited our Group and Families to attend their Easter Program for Patients at the Hospital on Easter Sunday, April 16th from 2:30pm- Easter 2013 Visit 4:00pm.

All those who can and would like to make the trip to deliver the packages to the patients personally, are invited and welcome!!

The hospital has asked us to keep our group size to 12 people, so we’ll take the “first come, first serve” model. We will definitely appreciate the help of any parents/parishioners that have cars to drive us over.

We would like to have all packages completed by our meeting on the April 8th, therefore the youth advisors will gather a few items for the project, such as the extra baskets and other items. However, we are encouraging the children and families to personalize these packages as much as possible and bring some items with them to Easter 2014 Visit put in their basket during the meeting.

Some suggested items are: • Toiletries- shaving cream, razors, aftershave, lotions, deodorant, light perfumes, body sprays • Candy/ chocolate (nothing too hard to chew) • Socks • Small stuffed animals / Small games or books
