The order of the matches is yet to be determined, largely because there is the real possibility that Didsbury will be involved in two of the day’s finals. Details of the latest matches are included in this newsletter, but the South Manchester side will definitely be involved in their first Knockout Final, and stand a very real chance of being in the T20 Divisional Competition final. Further details will be posted on the League website and on my Twitter account once known. Yorkshire club Sessay were reduced to 8-3 and 29-4 before recovering to post a good total, but Didsbury looked to have this one in the bag when they reached 99-3 in their run chase. Alas it was not to be, but as one of the first two Cheshire League sides to enter this competition, Didsbury have certainly demonstrated how favourably the League’s clubs measure up against some of the best that other leagues have to offer.
