Gwnewch nodyn o’r lleoliadau - o Gwmaman drwy Aberdâr i Rydywaun - o’r gweithdai, sioeau, cwisiau a’r trafodaethau - a chofiwch ddweud wrth eich ffrindiau. Dyma’r hyn sydd gan Roy Noble, fydd yn cyflwyno’i Rwy’n edrych ‘mlaen yn arbennig at fy rhaglenni o Lofa’r raglen Radio Wales o Lofa’r Twˆ r ar 9 Chwefror, ei Twˆ r a’r tyˆ dirgel yn ogystal â’r Cyngerdd Mawreddog yn y ddweud am yr hyn sy’n gwneud Aberdâr yn arbennig Coliseum. Efallai y gwnawn daro ymweliad â’r clwb enwog iddo. lle mae’r criw sy’n ysgrifennu ‘Letter from Aberdare’ yn cyfarfod i drafod y byd a’r betws. A dilyn streic gan y glowyr amser fyddai teulu'r un a garwn yn fy nghroesawu? A fyddem yn maith yn ôl. Gwell fodd bynnag yw cael fy nhraed dan y bwrdd er mwyn selio fy mherthynas rhoi iddi ei theitl answyddogol... newydd gyda’r ferch, ei thref a’i chwm?     On trouve de tout dans le dee-jay bag de Fredéric Beineix. Du funk, des tubes, de la House, de la Bossa, un peu d’afro, quelques ovnis. Son mot-clé, c’est « crossover », qu’il utilise à loisir pour qualifier sa musique. Eclectisme et ouverture d’esprit représentent autant d’années de pillage de greniers, de trocs de vinyles et de trouvailles de perles rares. Autant dire qu’il ne fait certainement pas partie de cette génération de prescripteurs de tendance à la culture musicale périssable. S’il mentionne aussi aisément les composi- teurs français de bandes originales de films des années 70 comme Michel Magne, Alain Goraguer, Michel Colombier ou François de Roubaix, ce n’est pas par hasard. Zimpala Cinématique ? C’est justement l’adjectif qu’il utilise le plus pour catégoriser la musique de sa formation Zimpala, ou celle qu’il distille au fil des histoires qu’il raconte aux platines. Le flegme souple, il parle avec nonchalance de la petite histoire qui l’a mené jusqu’ici, de ses débuts à Toulouse jusqu’à sa rencontre à Bordeaux avec David Walters, membre de Zimpala et co-équipier au sein de l’écurie Fantômas Records, qui abritait leurs premières aventures discographiques depuis 1996 sous la forme de compilations de raretés groove françaises dont l’épique Sexopolis. « Il travaillait dans le club où je jouais, un endroit incroyable pour l’époque, tenu par un fou de soul qui programmait Jamiroquai et Jhelisa. » Le premier album de Zimpala, Almaviva confronte les influences respectives des deux DJ’s : les musiques black dont Frédéric s’est imprégné à Londres à la fin des années 80 lors des soirées au Dingwalls (à la péri- ode où émerge un jeune DJ au physique de teenager nommé Gilles Peterson), mais aussi les rythmiques house que David joue régulièrement pendant ses sets.
