The all-share deal is expected to be completed during the first quarter. Morita is Japan’s leading producer of fire-fighting equipment with annual revenues of around $600 million. It also produces a range of recyling and garbage/refuse collection trucks. The acquisition will provide it with an international fire-fighting platform product line and access to the wider international market.
