This production of Webster's rarely-seen 1612 play won rave reviews at its I premiere during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Arts Festival. Edwards returns to BAM following ' her critically-acclaimed interpretation of Schiller's Don Carlos last spring with the Royal 0 Shakespeare Company (May 16- 20, 2000). Eight performances will take place at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House (3 0 Lafayette A venue), January 12, 13 (press opening), and 16- 0 20 at 7:30pm and January 14 at 3pm. Edwards made her New York directorial debut in the spring of 2000 with two productions: the RSC's Don Carlos at BAM and a revival of Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway.
