Experience: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Plasma Science and Fusion Center Cambridge, MA August, 1990 – present Research Scientist Analyzing and interpreting data from various plasma diagnostics, presenting results at international conferences and writing publications in scientific journals. Collaborating worldwide with groups of scientists from Europe, Japan, Russia, and the United States on scaling studies with the International H-mode Confinement Database Group. Scientific specialties include confinement, MHD fluctuations, magnetic diagnostics, spatial and temporal Fourier analysis and operation. June, 1992 – February, 1993 on mission to ENEA-Frascati, Italy collaborating to operate and analyze and interpret results from a two stage deuterium pellet injector on the Frascati Tokamak Upgrade. August, 1990 – April, 1992 on mission to the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory collaborating to operate and analyze and interpret results from a lithium pellet injector on the Tokamak Fusion Test Reactor measuring current density profiles, impurity transport, and lithium wall conditioning.

ENEA-Frascati Frascati, Italy July, 1989 - August, 1990 Physicist on contract with ENEA-Frascati Designed a system of fast magnetic pick-up coils to study high frequency plasma fluctuations.

Joint European Torus (JET Joint Undertaking) Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK October, 1986 - June, 1989 Physicist on contract through the University of Texas at Austin Fusion Research Center. In charge of the magnetic diagnostics on JET used for measurements of MHD equilibria, plasma diamagnetism, and MHD fluctuations. Supervised a computer programmer, technician, and several graduate students who obtained their doctorates.
