WHAT: Neutral Milk Hotel, featuring Jeff Mangum, Julian Koster, Scott Spillane and Jeremy Barnes, make their long-awaited return to Los Angeles to headline the Hollywood Bowl on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 8 PM.
Neutral Milk Hotel was one of the most distinctive indie bands of the Nineties. With their second seminal album, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, the group produced a bona fide rock classic, only to quietly disband and withdraw completely from the public eye just as they were gaining a sizable audience. But as the band stayed out of the spotlight, Aeroplane became a significant and influential musical milestone. Now, all four core members of the band return to the road for the group's first tour since 1998.
The one-night-only performance at the Hollywood Bowl marks the band’s only Los Angeles appearance this year. For more information, please visit hollywoodbowl.com

Single tickets for the 2014 Hollywood Bowl season go on sale Sunday, May 4 at 10 AM. Tickets can be purchased in-person at the Hollywood Bowl box office. Five hundred wristbands will be distributed, starting at 8 AM. The Hollywood Bowl parking lot will open at 7 AM.
Single tickets for the 2014 Hollywood Bowl season may also be purchased online at HollywoodBowl.com, Ticketmaster.com or via phone at 323.850.2000 starting on May 4 at 10 AM.
The box office hours are 10 AM to 6 PM through May 11. The box office is closed on Monday, May 12. Beginning May 13, summer hours are Tuesday – Sunday, 12 PM to 6 PM.
