Le 15 mars 1921, la « Società Anonima Moto Guzzi » a été constituée dans les bureaux du notaire Paolo Cassanello à Corso Aurelio Saffi, Gênes, pour « la fabrication et la vente de motocyclettes et toutes autres activités liées à l’industrie métallurgique et mécanique ».
